PARIS / BEIRUT — France ke President Emmanuel Macron ne Iran war mein ceasefire aur de-escalation ke liye ek bada aur critical diplomatic qadam uthaya hai. Macron ne Lebanon aur Israel dono ko Paris mein “direct talks” (seedhi baat-cheet) ke liye invite kiya hai, taaki tabahi ko roka ja sake.
Operation Epic Fury & Background:
Operation Epic Fury (US-Israel mission against Iran) chalte huye poora khitta matti mein mil raha hai. Operation Epic Fury Day 15 par, jab poora region high alert par hai, Macron ne is destructive cycle ko break karne ke liye initiative liya hai.
Macron’s Strategy:
Immediate Ceasefire: Macron ka main objective immediate ceasefire aur hostilitles ko end karna hai.
Gaza Connection: Unhone warning di hai ki Gaza mein human catastrophe aur war crimes ho rahe hain, jo unacceptable hain aur Lebanon mein bhi repeat ho sakte hain.
Geopolitical Interests: Critics kehte hain ki France apne regional influence ko restore karne ki koshish kar raha hai aur yeh ceasefire offer US strategy ke khilaf bhi ja sakta hai.
TWU Verdict:Macron’s offer ek critical inflection point hai. Agar Lebanon aur Israel maante hain, toh yeh Operation Epic Fury ko end kar sakta hai. Agar nahi maante, toh tabahi aur barhegi. Is situation mein diplomacy hi sabse bara weapon hai.
